Educator

Kyle is currently the resident Choreographer at Rosie’s Theater Kids, Rosie O'Donnells’ not for profit school for the arts in Manhattan. He is also on faculty in the Musical Theater Department at Marymount Manhattan College and The Professional Performing Arts High School and has previously taught at The Boston Ballet School. Along with materclasses and workshops in Theater Dance and Jazz across the country he also teaches open classes throughout Manhattan.  

Kyle stays committed to preserving the origins of Musical Theater Dance.  Alongside the choreography his class helps to instill all aspects of musical theatre and the relationship between song, dance, and storytelling. Class focuses on choreography, strength training, conditioning and refining technical fundamentals along with finding the bodies individual full breadth of expression and ability. Class offers far more than physical movement by incorporating audition techniques and a realistic look at the professional world and to revive honest, exciting storytelling through dance in the theatre.

Kyle is available for guest teaching and workshops in Theater Dance, Jazz, Musical Theater Repetoire, Private Lessons, Audition Preparation and College Conservatory Acceptance.

Kyle has served as assistant to Chet Walker and the Musical Theater Jazz Dance program at The School at Jacobs Pillow for two seasons working with dancers from across the world investigating the work of Jack Cole and other prominent choreographers.
